Emerald Bay is the most outstanding feature of Lake Tahoe. The deep glacial valley has a Eagle Creek flowing in at the head with sets of waterfalls just above that. This does bring out the crowds though. Only small weddings are allowed here and parking can be a problem. We recommend you caravan with the minister from your accommodations to the particular location you choose within Emerald Bay State Park. There is a $75 location fee.
