Chapel of the Pines operates under a permit from the USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit for several of its outdoor locations (as indicated). Lake Tahoe Wedding Sites

Logan Shoals is an astoundingly beautiful scenic overlook with several small clearings with excellent lake views. Each clearing is set amongst granite outcroppings. -->more info

Lake Tahoe's Beaches offer all the beauty of Lake Tahoe mere steps away from your ceremony. Choose from several beaches on Tahoe's south and east shores. Each one has it's own merits and special charms. -->more info

Yachts and Sailboats - There are a number of fantastic boats, sailboats, yachts and even paddlewheelers offering ceremonies right on board. We have extensive experience performing weddings on board most of Tahoe's wedding boats. -->more info

Country Club Weddings - Lake Tahoe's south shore offers two country clubs for beautiful weddings. Edgewood Tahoe offers luxurious weddings in a magnificent setting right on the lake, while the Lake Tahoe Country Club presents an Alpine backdrop. -->more info

Weddings at Heavenly - Heavenly offers several ceremony options overlooking Lake Tahoe. -->more info

Sleigh or Carriage Ride - When winter fills the air the sleigh winds through a lakeview alpine meadow to a grove of Aspen trees. During the summer the Horse drawn carriage provides many wonderful options.

Our contemporary church offers a private setting for up to 50 guests only 20 minutes from Tahoe in Carson City. It can serve as a backup plan for weather problems at east shore locations such as Logan Shoals.

Genoa Church located in historic Genoa, the church was rebuilt in 1910 after being destroyed by fire. -->more info

The Chart House features a lush courtyard with lake views in an alpine setting. It is located about half way up Kingsbury Grade on the left side as you go up.

Riva Grill

The Riva Grill offers waterfront elegance in a casual, yet refined atmosphere. The decor speaks of the nostalgia of Tahoe's wooden boat era.

Scenic Overlook at Emerald Bay
Emerald Bay State Park provides several clearings or improved areas for small ceremonies with Emerald Bay as the backdrop. Eagle Creek and Falls also provide great photos. -->more info

Private Home - We will be happy to open our home to have a small ceremony or offer it as a bad weather option for smaller ceremonies on Tahoe's east shore.

Glen Alpine Falls present a wonderful opportunity to wed underneath the pines with a roaring waterfall in the background. Take Hwy 89 North from South Lake Tahoe. Turn left onto Fallen Leaf Lake Road. After lake bear left at fire station. The falls will be on your right. $75.00 Location Fee.
