Lake Tahoe Beach Wedding Sites

Chapel of the Pines holds permits to perform ceremonies at the following locations. If your location is not listed here we may still be able to perform your ceremony. Give us a call to find out. 1 (800) 426-2858.

Zephyr Cove has over a mile of sandy beach with a quiet rocky alcove on the north end. For larger weddings, the resort does have a dedicated group area with grass lawn and reception tent. Zephyr Cove is also the home of the MS Dixie II and the Woodwind II, both very popular for boat weddings.

Round Hill Pines

Round Hill Pines Beach and Marina offers a similar setting to that of Zephyr Cove. Ceremonies and receptions are available for up to 300 people.

Lakeside Beach and Grill

Lakeside Beach and Grill provides an excellent opportunity for a catered event right on the beach or at their glass walled grill and restaurant, also right on the beach.

Sand Harbor is perhaps the lake's finest beach. The south end is beautiful fine white sandy beach while the north end features a small granite cove with a sandy beach. The beach does get crowded and parking can become a major issue.

Regan Beach is a quiet gem in South Lake Tahoe operated by the city of South Lake Tahoe. Amidst the towering Jeffrey Pines there is a lush grass lawn overlooking the lake that accommodates up to sixty people.

Camp Richardson Beach is located on the lake's southwest shore off highway 89. Earlier is better here as this is a rather confined beach next to a busy marina and the Beacon Bar and Grill.

Meeks Bay holds some of the lake's clearest waters and provides a beautiful backdrop for your special day. The beach does get crowded during summer afternoons, but the atmosphere is much more family oriented than Zephyr Cove or Camp Richardson. The beach is on Tahoe's west shore and about a half hour outside of South Lake Tahoe on highway 89.
